LE SPIAGGE BIANCHE DI PORTOFERRAIO
La costa nord di Portoferraio è costellata dalla presenza di bellissime spiagge bianche che iniziano da Portoferraio con la Spiaggia delle Ghiaie e proseguono con la spiaggia di Capo bianco e Padulella fino ad arrivare alla magnifica spiaggia di Sansone .
Questi arenili hanno la caratteristica di avere delle ghiae bianchissime e arrotondate, che fanno risplendere i fondali con una trasparenza eccezionale.
Da Casa Rossella in pochi minuti a piedi si raggiungono Padulella e Capo Bianco. Entrambe le spiagge distano dalla casa circa 350 mt. .
Mentre alla spiaggia delle Ghiaie, piu' vicina al centro cittadino, si arriva in circa 10/12 min.di cammino.
DIE WEIẞE STRÄNDE VON PORTOFERRAIO
Die Nordküste von Portoferraio ist gesäumt von wunderschönen weißen Stränden, die von Portoferraio mit dem Strand der Ghiaie beginnen und weiter über den Strand von Capo Bianco und Padulella bis zum prächtigen Strand von Sansone führen.
Diese Strände zeichnen sich durch ihre weißlichen, abgerundeten Kieselsteine aus, die den Meeresboden mit einer außergewöhnlichen Klarheit zum Strahlen bringen.
Von Casa Rossella aus erreicht man in wenigen Gehminuten die Strände von Padulella und Capo Bianco. Beide Strände sind etwa 350 Meter von der Wohnung entfernt.
Der Strand der Ghiaie, der näher am Stadtzentrum liegt, ist in etwa 10-12 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar.
THE WHITE BEACHES OF PORTOFERRAIO
The northern coast of Portoferraio is dotted with beautiful white beaches, starting from Portoferraio with the Spiaggia delle Ghiaie, continuing with the beaches of Capo Bianco and Padulella, and reaching the magnificent Sansone beach.
These beaches are characterized by their pure white, rounded pebbles, which make the seabed shine with exceptional transparency.
From Casa Rossella, Padulella and Capo Bianco beaches are just a few minutes' walk away. Both beaches are about 350 meters from the house.
The Spiaggia delle Ghiaie, which is closer to the town center, is about 10-12 minutes on foot.
CAPO BIANCO
La spiaggia di Capo Bianco, come Padulella, è una delle spiagge più apprezzate per le sue acque trasparenti . La spiaggia è delimitata da alte falesie bianche, quasi abbaglianti, che si tuffano in un mare cristallino di un azzurro turchese in un delicato equilibrio di colori ed emozioni.
Lunga 260 metri, è quasi divisa in due parti da un costone roccioso con la seconda parte che si allarga maggiormente e termina con un suggestiva punta particolarmente adatta per lo snorkeling che si tinge di fucsia ad aprile con la fioritura dei Fichi degli Ottentotti.
L’arenile è ammantato dai piccoli ciottoli levigati di eurite caratterizzati da gocce grigie-verdi scuro tipiche di questo tratto di costa ed essendo ai margini della Riserva Marina di Tutela Biologica dello Scoglietto presenta un fondale ricco di pesci.
E’ esposta a nord e quindi la sua bellezza è magnificata con i venti di scirocco che rendono piatto il mare. Una bellezza che perdura anche quando il sole si tuffa in mare offrendo suggestivi tramonti che tingono di rosa le bianche falesie.
Un luogo incantevole e naturale, adatto a chi vuole uscire dallo stereotipo della spiaggia di sabbia attrezzata.
La spiaggia dispone di servizio di noleggio lettini e ombrelloni, canoe e pedalò, piccolo bar. Parcheggio retrostante a pagamento.
CAPO BIANCO
Der Strand von Capo Bianco ist, wie Padulella, einer der beliebtesten Strände wegen seines kristallklaren Wassers. Er wird von hohen, fast blendend weißen Klippen eingerahmt, die in ein türkisblaues Meer eintauchen und ein harmonisches Spiel aus Farben und Emotionen schaffen.
Mit einer Länge von 260 Metern ist der Strand fast in zwei Teile geteilt durch eine Felsnase. Der zweite Abschnitt ist breiter und endet in einer malerischen Landzunge, die sich besonders gut zum Schnorcheln eignet. Im April wird sie durch die Blüte der Hottentottenfeige in ein leuchtendes Fuchsia getaucht.
Der Strand ist mit kleinen, glatt geschliffenen Eurit-Kieseln bedeckt, die für diesen Küstenabschnitt typischen dunkelgrau-grünen Einschlüsse aufweisen. Da er an die Meeresschutzzone "Lo Scoglietto" grenzt, ist der Meeresboden besonders fischreich.
Der Strand ist nach Norden ausgerichtet, wodurch seine Schönheit besonders bei Scirocco-Winden zur Geltung kommt, die das Meer spiegelglatt machen. Selbst bei Sonnenuntergang bietet Capo Bianco ein magisches Naturschauspiel, wenn die weißen Klippen in rosa Töne getaucht werden.
Ein idyllischer und unberührter Ort, ideal für alle, die eine Alternative zu überfüllten Sandstränden mit kompletter Ausstattung suchen.

CAPO BIANCO
The beach of Capo Bianco, like Padulella, is one of the most popular beaches because of its crystal-clear waters. It is framed by high, almost blinding white cliffs that plunge into a turquoise sea, creating a harmonious play of colors and emotions.
With a length of 260 meters, the beach is almost divided into two parts by a rocky outcrop. The second section is wider and ends in a picturesque promontory, which is particularly suitable for snorkeling. In April, it is bathed in bright fuchsia due to the blooming of the Hottentot fig.
The beach is covered with small, smooth Eurite pebbles, which feature the typical dark gray-green inclusions of this coastal stretch. Since it borders the "Lo Scoglietto" Marine Protected Area, the seabed is especially rich in fish.
The beach faces north, which makes its beauty especially stand out with Scirocco winds, which make the sea perfectly smooth. Even at sunset, Capo Bianco offers a magical natural spectacle when the white cliffs are bathed in pink hues.

PADULELLA
Anche la spiaggia della Padulella e' tra le più amate da elbani e turisti per la sua suggestiva bellezza.
La spiaggia si trova a est della Punta di Capo Bianco che la protegge dai venti occidentali, mentre sulla destra, una piccola scogliera la separa dalla spiaggia delle Ghiaie e dalla spiaggia di Cala dei Frati.
La Padulella è contornata da alte falesie bianche che si tuffano nel mare cristallino e azzurro, creando un delicato equilibrio di colori. Essendo esposta a nord, è particolarmente consigliata con i venti meridionali che enfatizzano la trasparenza del mare che per effetto dei bianchi fondali passa da gradazioni di verde acqua, al turchese e all’azzurro.
Lunga circa 170 metri, la spiaggia è formata da piccoli ciottoli bianchi levigati e in alcuni periodi, a seguito di forti mareggiate, è possibile trovare tratti di posidonia spiaggiata.
La cala fa parte della Zona di tutela biologica che si estende dalla Punta di Capo Bianco fino a Punta Falcone e, a largo, fino allo Scoglietto (compreso).
Proprio grazie all’istituzione nel 1971 della zona di riserva marina e alle secche presenti sulla destra dell' arenile , il mare è ricco di fauna e molto adatto allo snorkeling.
La spiaggia offre ogni tipo di servizio: bar, ristorante, noleggio lettini e ombrelloni, pedalò.
PADULELLA
Auch der Strand Padulella gehört zu den beliebtesten Stränden bei Einheimischen und Touristen, dank seiner beeindruckenden Schönheit.
Er liegt östlich der Punta di Capo Bianco, die ihn vor Westwinden schützt. Auf der rechten Seite trennt ihn eine kleine Felsklippe von der Spiaggia delle Ghiaie und der Spiaggia di Cala dei Frati.
Padulella wird von hohen weißen Klippen umrahmt, die ins kristallklare, azurblaue Meer abfallen und ein harmonisches Farbspiel erzeugen. Da der Strand nach Norden ausgerichtet ist, kommt seine Schönheit besonders bei südlichen Winden zur Geltung, die die Klarheit des Wassers verstärken. Durch den hellen Meeresboden schimmert das Wasser in verschiedenen Farbtönen – von Wassergrün über Türkis bis hin zu Azurblau.
Der Strand ist etwa 170 Meter lang und besteht aus kleinen, weißen, glattgeschliffenen Kieseln. Nach starken Stürmen kann man hier gelegentlich angeschwemmte Posidonia-Seegrasfelder finden.
Die Bucht gehört zur Meeresschutzzone, die sich von der Punta di Capo Bianco bis zur Punta Falcone und weiter hinaus bis zum Scoglietto erstreckt.
Gerade dank der Einrichtung der Meeresschutzzone im Jahr 1971 und der Riffe auf der rechten Seite des Strandes ist das Meer besonders fischreich und sehr gut für Schnorcheln geeignet.
Der Strand bietet alle Arten von Dienstleistungen: Bar, Restaurant, Liegestuhl- und Sonnenschirmverleih sowie Tretbootverleih.
PADULELLA
The Padulella beach is also one of the most popular beaches among locals and tourists due to its impressive beauty.
It is located east of Punta di Capo Bianco, which protects it from westerly winds. On the right, a small rocky cliff separates it from the Spiaggia delle Ghiaie and Spiaggia di Cala dei Frati.
Padulella is framed by high white cliffs that drop into the crystal-clear, azure-blue sea, creating a harmonious play of colors. Since the beach faces north, its beauty is especially emphasized by southern winds that enhance the clarity of the water. Due to the light seabed, the water shines in different shades – from water green to turquoise to azure blue.
The beach is about 170 meters long and consists of small, white, smooth pebbles. After strong storms, you may occasionally find Posidonia seagrass washed ashore.
The bay is part of the Marine Protected Area that extends from Punta di Capo Bianco to Punta Falcone and further out to Scoglietto.
Thanks to the existence of this protected area since 1971 and the underwater rocks on the right side of the bay, the sea is particularly rich in fish and ideal for snorkeling.
The beach offers many amenities: bar, restaurant, sunbed and umbrella rental, and pedal boat rental.
GHIAIE
Vicinissima al centro storico di Portoferraio, sul lato settentrionale, la spiaggia delle Ghiaie è rinomata per la impareggiabile bellezza caratterizzata dai suoi piccoli ciottoli di eurite levigati dal mare, quasi abbaglianti.
La leggenda narra che proprio in questa spiaggia sbarcarono gli Argonauti in cerca del Vello d’Oro e il loro sudore macchiò di gocce grigio-azzurre le piccole ghiaie.
Consigliabile frequentare la spiaggia soprattutto con i venti meridionali che rendono il colore dell’acqua simile ad una piscina. Una piscina ricchissima di fauna marina, rientrando la zona nella Riserva Marina di Tutela Biologica dello Scoglietto, dove basta gettare in acqua dei piccoli pezzi di pane per essere circondati da una miriade di pesci che arrivano a mangiare anche dalle vostre mani. Un paradiso dunque per lo snorkeling !
La spiaggia è lunga 280 metri, servita da bar e ristoranti con un giardino pubblico alle sue spalle fornito di un piccolo parco giochi. E’ quindi indicata anche per le famiglie con bambini.
La vista sulle fortificazioni medicee, sull’isolotto dello Scoglietto con il suo faro ed il mare aperto è mozzafiato, per la particolarità dei colori, ogni tonalità di blu, finchè il cielo non si fonde con il mare.
Un’occasione per l’ultimo bagno prima della vostra partenza dall’Elba se arrivate al porto in anticipo.
GHIAIE
Ganz in der Nähe des historischen Zentrums von Portoferraio, auf der Nordseite, ist der Strand der Ghiaie bekannt für seine unvergleichliche Schönheit, die durch die kleinen, glattgeschliffenen Eurit-Kiesel entsteht, die fast blendend wirken.
Der Legende nach landeten hier die Argonauten auf der Suche nach dem Goldenen Vlies, und ihr Schweiß färbte die kleinen Kiesel mit graublauen Tropfen.
Der Besuch des Strandes ist besonders bei südlichen Winden empfehlenswert, die das Wasser in einen nahezu poolartigen Zustand versetzen. Ein Pool voller Meeresfauna, da die Zone zur Meeresschutzzone "Lo Scoglietto" gehört. Wer kleine Brotstücke ins Wasser wirft, wird von einer Vielzahl von Fischen umgeben, die sogar aus der Hand fressen. Ein wahres Paradies für Schnorchel-Fans!

Located just near the historic center of Portoferraio, on the northern side, the Spiaggia delle Ghiaie is known for its unparalleled beauty, created by the small, smooth Eurite pebbles that appear almost blinding.
Legend has it that the Argonauts, in search of the Golden Fleece, landed here, and their sweat stained the small pebbles with gray-blue drops.
Visiting the beach is especially recommended with southern winds, which turn the water into a nearly pool-like state. A pool full of marine life, as the area is part of the "Lo Scoglietto" Marine Protected Area. If you throw small pieces of bread into the water, you'll be surrounded by a variety of fish that even eat from your hand. A true paradise for snorkeling fans!
